ACIDIC ZINC TREATMENT

In acidic zinc coating, in which the bright zinc layer is attached to another metal material by electrolysis, a visually brighter product is obtained compared to other zinc coating methods. It is preferred intensely due to its successful application on heat-treated hard floors and cast floors, which are generally difficult to cover.

Although the wastewater generated in acidic zinc coating baths established with ammonium or potassium differs according to the chemicals used, treatment needs arise due to the fact that parameters such as heavy metals, suspended solids (AKM), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), pH are higher than the limit values. Cyanide oxidation should be applied and the main wastewater should be treated before the wastewaters formed in cyanide acidic zinc coating applications are collected in separate lines and are not allowed to be mixed with other acidic wastewaters.
