Sand filters are high-efficiency systems designed to remove undissolved particles and suspended solids in wastewater. While the sand filters keep suspended solids in the water, they also have the capacity to protect the units to be installed after them from undissolved material leaks. For this reason, sand filter systems are one of the filtration units that must be in a treatment plant.
Fully automatic sand filters have a structure consisting of different sizes of Quartz and anthracite layers inside FRP or steel tanks. Thanks to the layered structure created, the wastewater gradually progresses between the layers and the system efficiency is maximized.
Data such as the dimensions, capacity, velocity of the wastewater in the column, mineral and chemical consumptions of the Sand Filter Systems are specially designed for each scenario according to the flow rate of the wastewater, its characteristics, and the condition of the units before and after it.
Our sand filter systems are specially manufactured by our company from FRP and Steel materials and according to the current waste water flow. The equipment constituting the system are produced in an integrated manner at the GESU factory, factory and field assembly are completed, put into operation and delivered to the customer.
